The 15th Century Grade II listed White Horse Inn is situated at the heart of the village.
The White Horse was taken over in 2007 by Oak Taverns who have spent time and money renovating it to provide the village and local area with a pub to be proud of. Their vision was simply, to create a fine dining experience within a relaxed pub environment and that has certainly been achieved.
The pub is now run by Anwar Pervaiz and his wife Ally and they have created a pub where you can sit and enjoy authentic Thai food whilst drinking fine ales from the Goldfinch brewery, Dorchester.
Today Thai food is widely recognised as one of the worlds great cuisines. Complex combinations of robustly flavoured ingredients are blended together resulting in sophisticated and elegant dishes. Each dish has it's own unique flavours derived from the herbs and spices used in it's preparation. Thai dishes have many distinct but different flavours, some hot and some not. However, one thing they all have in common is that they all taste wonderful. Bland is definitely not on the menu.
