Cinderella

What's On

Cinderella

Tick, tock, tick, tock, panto time is fast approaching. Don't miss out on what promises to be the biggest and best party in the land!

Cinders is but a lowly housemaid with two rather ugly sisters. The handsome prince is looking for a bride. Will true love take its course (assisted by our heroine's Fairy Godmother and the broken-hearted Buttons)? Can Cinders compete with her sisters to win the heart of the kingdom's most eligible bachelor? And, who knew getting your feet measured could be so important?

You and your whole family are guaranteed to have a ball at this year's Forest Hill pantomime. Cinderella is one of the best-loved fairy tales of all time, bursting with boos, cheers, songs and laughter. This is one festive bash you don't want to be late for!

About the FHAME team

Forest Hill residents have been rehearsing hard, transforming themselves every Wednesday night into goodies and baddies, princes and princesses, fairies, jokers and heroes to bring you this year's fun-filled production.

Cinderella is the second pantomime written by Forest Hill resident Gareth Baxter, who has ramped up the bad jokes and filled the script with panto favourites, so you can look forward to lots of audience participation and general silliness.

This is also your chance to see the village hall transformed with beautiful scenery by Clare Paige, fabulous lighting and effects from Andrew Waite Brown, and decoration that makes you feel a part of the show.

The intimacy of a village production is hard to beat, and something we in Forest Hill want to share with as wide an audience as possible. Where else can you find a near-professional production at a fraction of the usual cost?

The Forest Hill pantomime, now in its fifth year, has become so popular we have added a third date.
